问了下“二师兄”的理解:
[6:11:22 PM CDT] Me: Hi 二师兄, I got a English question. :) There are a bunch of tools, such as yaml, which starts with “yet another”. What exactly does "yet" means in those situations? Does the author trying to be humble? (yet means not yet, almost) Or somthing else?
[6:11:54 PM CDT] 二师兄: yet as in another one
[6:11:59 PM CDT] 二师兄: being ironic
[6:12:35 PM CDT] 二师兄: as in there are already a lot of (x)aml stuff, and this is 'yet' another one
[6:13:26 PM CDT] 二师兄: because, a lot of people ask, why is there a need for yet another {whatever} isn't {whatever existing tool(s)} enough?
[6:14:03 PM CDT] 二师兄: like why do we need to invent yet another drupal management tool when there are already package managers we can use.
貌似“又”,“已经很多”是正解。谢谢楼上各位。
